David Coffey, Sr., age 74

David Coffey, Sr., age 74, of Caroleen, passed away Monday, August 31, 2022.

David was born November 18, 1947 in Rutherford County to the late Raymond Coffey and Grace Roberts Coffey. He worked for Burlington Industries for over twenty-five years. David was a member of Shingle Hollow Congregational Holiness Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Junior Coffey, J.C. Coffey, Sheila Trotter, Peggy Philbeck and Lester Coffey.

Survivors include his son, David Coffey, Jr. of Chesnee, SC; daughter, Elizabeth Travis (John) of Forest City; sisters Barbara Baldwin (Johnny) of Virginia Beach, VA and Diane Cole of Mooresboro, five grandchildren.

The funeral was held September 7 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jack Crain officiating.
