Born May 5, 1951 in Cleveland County, NC. David was one of 12 children of the late Johnny "Dock" Morrow and Myrtle Lee Bell Morrow. He is also preceded in death by Virginia "Gin" Morrison, Archie Morrow, Johnny Morrow, Glenn Morrow and Stan Morrow.

David enlisted in the United States Army seeing action during the Vietnam War.

David worked for many years as an HVAC mechanic for Thermo Kinetics, Leigh Fibers and Century Contractors, traveling all across the western United States. He spent the last part of his career managing the cooling system at the PPG plant in Shelby.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Joann Toney (Chad), Brandi Morrow Martin (David) and Seth Morrow; grandchildren, Ashley Young (Nate) and Patrick Toney; siblings, Frank Morrow, Sarah Jones, Louise Robinson, Bonnie Pearson (Gary), Cathy Elgin (Rick) and Dennis Morrow (Lynda); numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services were held June 20 at Eastside Baptist Church, Kings Mountain with Rev. Ken Faulkenbury officiating. Military Honors were by Post 100 of Cherryville.
