David "Stoney" Stoner, 65, of Forest City, passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2017.
A native of Oak Hill, WVA, he was the son of the late Allen Lee Stoner and Dreama Warden Roberson. Stoney was a retired locksmith and worked for WalMart for twenty years.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of forty five years, Elizabeth Treadway Stoner of the home; daughters, Beverly Stoner Tracy and husband Mike of Tega Cay, SC and Amy Stoner Meacham and husband Geoff of Garner, NC; four grandchildren; brothers, Jeffery Allen Stoner of Shelby, Daniel Stoner of Greensboro, and Harold Bragg of Marion.
At Stoney's request, no formal services will be held.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
Crowe's Mortuary is assisting the family.
