Dazel Defoy Morrow age 89 passed away Friday June 28, 2019.

A native of Rutherford County Dazel worked for a number of years at Stonecutter Mills and retired from Broyhill Furniture after twenty years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and attended Bible Tabernacle Church of Ruth, NC. Dazel loved working in his garden and spending time with family and his "granddog", Chloe.

He was preceded in death by his parents Grover and Katie Gordon Morrow, his wife Joyce Morrow, and one brother, Virgil Morrow.

Those left to cherish his memory include one son, Chester Morrow (Carolyn); one daughter, Teresa Hayes; one brother, Bill Morrow (Joyce); one sister, Mozelle Barner (Donald); four grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one great great grandchild, as well as a number of other family members and friends.

Funeral services were held at Bible Tabernacle Church in Rutherfordton. The burial was held in the Piney Knob Baptist Church Cemetery in Rutherfordton with Military Honors provided by The Rutherford County Honor Guard.

Crowe's Mortuary and Crematory is serving the family.
