Debbie McKinney Skipper, age 73

Debbie McKinney Skipper, age 73 of Cliffside, NC, passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2023.

She was the widow to the late Larry G. Skipper Sr. and the daughter to the late A.C. McKinney and the late Mary Ellen Black McKinney. She was a native of Rutherford County living in Cliffside, NC most of her life. She attended Gardner Webb University and worked for Cone Mills Haynes Plant for many years. She was a member of Tabernacle Free Will Baptist Church in Forest City.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by her brother Marty McKinney, sister-in-law Linda Skipper Simeon and many other family members and friends.

She is survived by her son, Larry G. "Skip" Skipper Jr., two grandchildren, her brother-in-law Roger Skipper and wife Martha. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.

A visitation was held April 16 at Eggers Funeral Home of Cliffside.
