Debbie Price Bennett, age 72, passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2022.

Debbie was a lifelong resident of Rutherford County and was a graduate of R.S. Central High School. Debbie attended Isothermal Community College. She retired from the State of North Carolina after 28 years. Debbie was a member of Spencer Baptist Church.

Debbie was preceded in death by parents, William Owen Price and Elsie Mae Ford Price and a brother Melvin Leroy Price.

She is survived by her husband of 25 years, James S. Bennett, daughter Catherine Sybert and husband Marshall, three grandchildren, sisters Barbara McCurry of Bostic, Patricia Price of Forest City, brother, Doug Price and wife Barbara of Statesville, several nieces and nephews and a great niece.

Funeral services were held September 10 at Spencer Baptist Church with Rev. Bruce Caldwell officiating.
