Deborah Kay Downey, 56

Deborah Kay Downey, 56, of Bostic, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2012. 

A native of Kissimmee, FL, she was the daughter of Gretchen Nance and the late James Nance. She was a truck driver and a member of Temple Baptist Church.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Larry Downey of the home; son Jason Barnwell of Gastonia; daughter Marsha Barnwell of Edneyville; two brothers, Zachary Nance of Forest City and Kevin Nance of Henrietta; two grandchildren, Wyatt Mayo and Jacob Barnwell.

Memorial services were held at Temple Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043

Crowe’s Mortuary is serving the family.
