Deloris Davis, age 75, of Forest City, NC, passed away Friday, August 3, 2012.

 Deloris was born February 9, 1937 in Logan County, West Virginia to the late Ernest Parsons and Virginia Brown Parsons.  She was a homemaker, enjoyed shopping and was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend.  She was a Baptist.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 57 years, Ralph Lee Davis; five children, Georgia Cooper of Lawndale, Ron Davis and wife, Shelia of Winiferde, WV, Jim Davis of Harris, Bob Davis of Spindale and Donna Gordon and husband, Robert of Forest City.  She is also survived by one brother, Roy Parsons and wife, Bernie of Shelby; nine half-brothers and sisters; nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Glen Davenport and Reverend Robert Dills officiating.  Interment followed in Rose Hill Memorial Park in Lawndale.
