Denae Carol Davies passed away Friday, October 14, 2022.

Born in Baltimore, MD June 28, 1952 to Curtis Atwood Davies and Dorothea Kirchner Davies, Denae moved to Rutherfordton, NC from Severna Park, MD in 1989. Denae was a teacher, beginning her career at Calvary Chapel Christian Academy in MD. After moving to Rutherfordton, Denae attended Word of Faith Fellowship. Denae received her bachelor's degree at Limestone College and two Master degrees in education at American University. She taught exceptional students at Isothermal Community College, English at Word of Faith Christian Schoolanv lived 13 years in Ghana as a missionary teacher.

Denae is preceded in death by father Curtis A. Davies and brother Curtis Jr.

Survivors are mother Dorothea Davies and brother Charles Davies and wife, Connie; two nephews, one niece, and several great nephews and nieces.

Funeral services were held October 16 at Word of Faith Fellowship.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Word of Faith Fellowship Christian School.
