Dennis B. Thompson

Dennis B. Thompson passed away January 4, 2022 at the age of 87.

He is preceded in death by his wife Betty of 42 years and one grandson.

Dennis was born in Tolani Lake Arizona December 6, 1934. He was 9th of 13 siblings raised on the Navajo Reservation in Arizona.

At the age of 16 he went to Sherman Institute in Riverside California to further his education, he then went to fire fighting school at the California Department of Forestry. After that he learned wood working which became his life's passion.

He met and married the love of his life Betty in 1974. Later moving to Bostic, NC where they remained and worked at Cone Mill until retiring.

Left to cherish found memories are one daughter and son and law, three grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren.
