Diana D. Thompson, age 62, of Forest City, passed away March 2, 2018.

Born September 2, 1955 in Rutherford County, she was a daughter of the late J.C. Dills and Carolyn Allen Dills. She was a graduate of Chase High School and attended Morningstar Baptist Church. Diana worked in textiles for many years and most recently served as a home healthcare aide. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening, painting and working on crafts. Diana was a blessing to her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Eddy Owens.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of thirty-eight years, Danny Thompson; one son, Cory Owens (Meranda) of Rutherford County; step-son, James Wofford Thompson of Mayo, SC; two grandchildren, and several brothers and sisters.

A memorial service was conducted at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel. Rev Gene Smith and Rev Sam Henderson officiated.
