Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Jacob Wooten and Gary Melton greeted visitors at a booth in downtown Forest City Saturday morning as they sold American flags and received donations for the DAV. The DAV conducts its regular business meeting the second Monday of each month with a pot luck dinner beginning at 6 p.m. Interested veterans are invited to join the meetings at the National Guard Armory in Forest City.
