Donald Suttles, age 80, of Rutherfordton, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2020.

He was the son of the late Oscar Suttles and the late Rosa Lee Suttles and a native of McDowell County. Donald was a member of First United Methodist Church, Rutherfordton. He was a mason and a member of Western Star Lodge #91.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Warren Suttles, and one sister Jolynn Suttles Banner. He is survived by his wife, Beverly A. Suttles; two sisters, Pauline and Fern; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held at First United Methodist Church, Rutherfordton.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church; 246 North Main St. Rutherfordton, NC 28139.
