Doris Greene Ebert, 80

July 1, 2023, Doris Greene Ebert, 80, of Mooresboro, NC passed away.

Fritz and Doris were married April 16, 1967 and for several years resided in Miami, FL with their daughters, Margaret, Sherrie, and Theresa. In 1971 they moved back to North Carolina, where their daughter Lisa was born. For 51 years they resided in Bostic, where they raised children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. They had just recently moved to Mooresboro, NC.

Doris was born October 25, 1942 in Rutherfordton. She became a florist for several years, then later worked at Stonecutter Mills, Spindale Mills, and PPG. She left PPG in 1994 to be a stay-at-home Grandma.

Doris loved Florence Church and all of her church family.

Doris was predeceased by father Elvis Arrowood, and mother Margaret Shelton Arrowood and her brother J.B. Greene and sister, Maxine McKinney.

She is survived by husband, Fritz Max Ebert, daughters, Margaret Lowery of Cliffside, Lisa Ebert-Powell and husband, Jamie of Mooresboro, Sherrie Webb and husband Steve, of Ray City, GA, and Theresa Ebert of Conyers, GA; sisters, Wanda Jenkins, and husband David, of Carolina Shores, and Dorlis Roberts and husband, J.P. of Rutherfordton, seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Private services were held July 3, 2023 at Florence Church.
