Doris Sims Hodge, 85

Doris Sims Hodge, 85, of Spindale, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2023.

A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Edna Pack Sims. Doris was retired from the textile industry.

Left to cherish her memories are her children, Linda Miller and husband Tim, Dwight Hodge and wife Debbie, Tracy Hodge, Amy Jackson and husband Charlie, Angela McEntyre, Sidney Hodge; fourteen grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her daughter, Carol Hodge, grandsons, Michael Hopper and Colt Kurkendall; sisters, Ellen Sims Warren and Carolyn Sims Russell.

Funeral services were held January 20 at Crowe's Mortuary with Rev. Tim Frashier officiating.
