Dorothy Lea Weaver Hill, 86, of Ellenboro, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2015.

A native of Johnson City, TN, she was the daughter of the late Henry Lonzo and Marie Eades Weaver. Dorothy retired from the textile industry as a weaver.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Michael Hardin and wife Karen of Ellenboro; 5 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother Otis Weaver of Sanford, NC., and special niece Michelle Wood of Ellenboro. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Eugene Hill and son Dennis Hardin.

Funeral services were held at Crowe's Mortuary with Rev. Bruce Caldwell officiating. Interment followed in Mountain Creek Baptist Church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Spencer Baptist Church Building Fund, 187 N. Oak Street, Spindale, NC 28160 or Hospice of Rutherford County, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
