Dr. Charles F. Cobb, 77, of Spindale, Nc began a new life in heaven on Tuesday, March 1, 2011. A celebration of life service was held at Adaville Baptist Church, Spindale, NC.
Dr. Cobb was preceded in death by his first wife of forty-five years, Sandra Lowery Cobb; parents, Clyde and Cleo W. Cobb; his brother, Arthur Cobb; his sister Alice Fleming and his beloved son, Mark Cobb.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia Cobb; his daughter, Marianne Gee and husband Walter and his son Andy and wife Cindy; his brothers, Earl, Jerry and David Cobb and his sister, Norma Jean Pickard and five grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Asheville, NC; Adaville Baptist Church, Spindale, NC or to Hospice of Rutherford County.
Crowe’s Mortuary of Rutherfordton, NC is serving the family.
