Earl McCurry, age 85, of Lexington, NC, formerly of Caroleen, passed away, October 11, 2021.

Earl was born June 21, 1936 in Rutherford County to the late Grady Lee McCurry and Cora Blanche Murray McCurry. He was a veteran of the US Army and served honorably during the Korean War. Earl worked for GenPak for many years. He was a past member of Caroleen Baptist Church and most recently a member of the Myrtle Grove Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 61 years, Joanna Hawkins McCurry; son Todd McCurry and wife, Vicky; daughter, Alicia Trollinger; grandson, Justin Schultz and granddaughter, Jordan Schultz.

A graveside service was held October 16, 2021 at the Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Ernie Cole officiating.

Harrelson Funeral and Cremation Services is serving the family.
