Earline Huntsinger Rhymer, age 87 of Forest City died Wednesday, September 30, 2026. Earline was born in Shelby, NC on May 6, 1939, and was a daughter of the late Robert and Lela Rabb Hnutsinger.
She was a lifelong Baptist and had attended Sulphur Springs Baptist Church and late Forest Lake Baptist Church. Earline began her working career at Aeroquip in Forest City, and she continued her employment after it was sold to Eaton Corporation where she retired with 40 years service.
She was preceded in death by her infant son, Max Elliott Rhymer, Jr., her brothers, Harold, Albert, and Bill Huntsinger, her sister, Selma Ware and her former husband, Max Elliott Rhymer, Sr.
Survivors include her daughter, Angela Rhymer of Forest City as well as nieces, nephews and many friends.
A service from the graveside was held October 5 in the Cool Springs Cemetery with Rev. Wayne Toney officiating.
