Ed Junior Lewis, age 76, of Forest City, passed away Monday, October 9, 2023.

Ed was born April 6, 1947, in Rutherford County to the late Ed M. Lewis and Bertie Tipton Lewis. Ed was a member of the Forest City Church of the Nazarene. Ed worked for A-PAC Paving for twenty years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Janie Lewis, and a son, Richard Lewis.

Those left to cherish his memory include his sons Rodney Lewis (Shirley Whisnant), Scott Lewis (Amanda); sister, Louise Nanney; brothers, Willard Lewis (Irene), Sam Lewis (Dolly), David Lewis (Brenda); also, twelve grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held October 13 at Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jerry Ruppe officiating.
