Eddie Hardin, age 66, of Ellenboro, passed away October 17, 2021.

Eddie was born August 11, 1955 in Rutherford County to Shirley Mode Hardin who resides in Ellenboro and the late Robert Wesley Hardin. Eddie worked as a welder for most of his life. He was a member of Harmon Street Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 41 years, Dwala Gowan Hardin; sons, Clint and Mitchum Hardin, of the home; sister, Chris Williams (Marty); grandchildren, Hannah Hardin and Bella Perpetua; and a niece Kinsey Scruggs (Preston).

A funeral service was conducted October 20, 2021 at Harmon Street Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Church and Rev. Wayne Toney officiating. Interment followed at Oak Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Memorial donations are requested to Harmon Street Baptist Church, 389 Harmon St., Forest City, NC 28043.
