Eddie Heffner, age 69, of Kings Mountain, passed away Friday, March 19, 2020.

Eddie was born January 1, 1951 in Cleveland County to the late Gary Wilbern Heffner, Sr. and Shirley Louise Hardin Heffner.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Christopher Lee Heffner Sellers and two brothers, Gary Heffner, Jr. and Mike Heffner.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Patricia Lawson Heffner; four brothers, David Heffner (Tammie) of Kings Mountain, Dave Heffner of Rutherfordton, Dale Heffner (Beth) of Rutherfordton and Geoff Heffner (Robin) of Shelby. He is also survived by a stepson, Kenneth Wayne (Holly); four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A memorial service is being planned for a later date.
