Edith Bailey Jones, 89, of Shelby, passed away on Sun. Feb. 26, 2012.
A native of Cleveland County, she was born on July 27, 1922, a daughter of the late Frank Bailey and Betty Owens Bailey.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Jones and fifteen brothers and sisters. She is survived by her caregivers, Betty and Mike Jones and Courtney Jones. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at the A.C. McKinney Memorial Chapel. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Cleveland County, 951 Wendover Heights Dr. Shelby.
