Edith Conner Robbins, age 90

Edith Conner Robbins, age 90, went home to be with her Lord and Savior January 8, 2026.

She was a native of Rutherford County and a daughter of the late Willie and Pearl Conner. She was a retired employee of Stonecutter Mills Corporation with 25 years' service and a member of Friendship Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Billy Hutchins, her second husband, John Marlowe and her third husband, Jimmy E. Robbins, as well as her brothers, Albert Conner, Wade Conner and Donald Conner.

Survivors include her daughters, Sandra Nelson, Patsy Owens, and Nancy Cox and husband Jeff, her sister, Violet Conner of Rutherfordton, 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Burial will be private and a memorial service is being planned for a later date and will be announced.
