Edward David Causby, Jr., 53, of Ellenboro, died Wednesday, September 6, 2023.

He was the son of the late Ed Causby Sr., and Kathryn Louise Hall Causby.

He is survived by his companion, Kim Allmon; his son, Edward John Causby; his daughter, Melissa Ann Causby Johnson and husband Barry, of Forest City; his brother, David Edward Causby and spouse Alicia, of Bessemer City; his sister, Alice Deaux and spouse Melinda Adams, of Jacksonville, FL; a half sister, Carolyn Hoppes and husband Roy of Bostic; and grandson Allen David Johnson.

The Funeral will be conducted at 3pm September 14, 2023 at Walls Baptist Church. The Rev. Max Burgin will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The Visitation will be from 1-2:45pm Thursday at the church prior to the service.
