Elaine Schappet Haines, age 91

Elaine Schappet Haines, age 91, a longtime resident of Tryon, NC passed away Thursday, February 9, 2017.

Elaine was born on June 19, 1925 in Philadelphia, PA and was a daughter of the late John C. and Marie Schappet. Her career was spent helping others as a Registered Nurse.

Surviving are two sons, Barry Flood of Spartanburg, SC, Steven Flood of Westwood, MA., her closest granddaughter, of Campobello, SC, three other grandchildren as well as a number of great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

There are no formal services planned at this time.
