     Elizabeth “Beth” Sykes, age 54, of Spindale, NC, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2011.

    Funeral services were conducted at Main Street Baptist Church.    

     Beth was born June 25, 1957 in Woodbury, New Jersey to the late Raymond F. Klingler and Celia Stevens Klingler. Survivors include her husband of 35 years, David L. Sykes; two sisters, Valerie Klingler of South Hampton, N.J. and Barbara Dunphy of Delran, N.J.; one brother, Stephen Klingler of Columbus, NC; mother in-law, Betty Sykes of Mt. Holly, NJ: sister and brother in-law, Lynn and Casey Noble of Hainesport; several cousins and a wonderful church family.

    Memorial donations are suggested to Hospice of Rutherford County, POB 336, Forest City, NC  28043 or to Main Street Baptist Church, 327 E. Main Street, Spindale, NC  28160.
