Elizabeth "Lib" Bostic Patty, age 74, of Mooresboro, passed away January 31, 2022.

Elizabeth was born March 5, 1947, in Cleveland County to the late Dewey Edward Bostic and Worthy Jane Eaker Bostic. She was a graduate of Crest High School and worked for Cone Mills-Cliffside Plant for over 30 years. She was a past member of Gantt's Grove Baptist Church and a present member of High Shoals Baptist Church.

Left to cherish fond memories are her son, Mark Patty of Mooresboro, Pam Stanton of Cherryville; grandson, Brandon Patty (Amanda Baht) of Boiling Springs; brothers-in-law, Joe Bennett of Mooresboro and Larry Whitener of Forest City and numerous other family members and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Oscar Junior Patty; sisters, Geneva Bennett, Mattie Sue Whitener, Mary Street, and Alice McKinney, companion and friend Bobby Whisnant.

The funeral was conducted February 5, 2022, with Rev. Shane Adkins, Rev. Scott Caldwell, and Rev. Leroy White officiating.
