Elizabeth (Libby) Ann Gossett Burgess passed away September 27, 2021.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Christopher Burgess of Asheville, daughter April Burgess-Johnson and wife Willow of Asheville, and son Shane Burgess of Spindale, two grandchildren. Her mother, Agnes Gossett, sisters Frieda Conner, Dianne Cogdell, Angie Pearson and brothers JC "Clevie" Gossett and Charles Gossett, all of Mooresboro.

She was preceded in death by her father JC Gossett and brother Michael Gossett.'

A private graveside service was held at Riverside Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Four Seasons Hospice or the Hope Chest for Women.

Harrelson Funeral and Cremation Services is serving the family.
