Ella Mae Moss Gee, 80, of Spindale, passed away Monday, September 22, 2014.A native of Rock Hill, SC, she was the daughter of the late Blake & Viola Caldwell Moss. She was a retired textile employee & a member of First Baptist Church, Spindale.

She is survived by her sons, Walter Lee Gee of the home; Ricky Lee Gee of Spindale; daughters, Shirley Gee Rice of Rutherfordton, Pamela Gee Pitman of Raleigh; sisters, Lovine Moss, Ruth Sherer, Naomi Satterfield, Jackie Bagley, & Jewel Moss, all of Rock Hill, SC; brothers Haskell Moss & Jerry Moss, both of Rock Hill, SC; 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren & one great great grandchild. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Truman Lee Gee, daughter Roxanne Gee Preston, & sisters Mary Moss Long & Cora Moss Campbell.

Funeral services were held at First Baptist Church, Spindale, with Rev. Charley Melton officiating. Interment followed in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
