Elliott Rollins Harris Jr, age 61, of Forest City, passed away Friday, March 7, 2014. 

A native of Middlesex County, MA, he was the son of the late Elliott Rollins Sr. and Louise Helen Aberle Harris. Elliott formerly worked as an accountant for Isothermal Planning and Development Commission.

Left to cherish his memory is his sister, Priscilla Downs and husband Don of Rutherfordton; nephew Geoffrey Downs and wife Kristin of Burlington, VT and niece Merideth Drude and husband Bill of Rutland, VT.

A celebration of life will be held Thurs. March 13, 1-3PM at First United Methodist Church in Rutherfordton, NC.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.

Crowe’s Mortuary is assisting the family.
