Emmaline Laura Biddix Henderson, age 71 of Bethany Church Road, passed away August 1, 2021.

A native of McDowell County, she was a daughter of the late Delmar Daniel Biddix and Kattie Mae Ogle Biddix. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John Albert Henderson, Sr.

She is survived by 3sons, John Albert Henderson, Jr., Christopher Delmer Henderson and Jerome Scott Henderson; 1 daughter, Susan Eileen Henderson; 1 step-daughter Tonda Champion; a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren; 4 sisters, Gay Queen, Gloria Hall, Susan Vess and Thelma Bingham; 1 brother, Dudley Ray Biddix.

A celebration of Emmaline's life was held August 4, 2021 at Crowe's Funeral Chapel.
