Equine science, behaviors taught in recent classes

Three classes from the Agriculture Programs at Isothermal Community College (ICC) came together recently to learn about equine science, equine behaviors and training a therapeutic horse. Excelsor (bay Arabian) and April (Palomino Quarter Horse) were the guests of honor for the classes. The Agriculture Program at ICC offers the following: Associate of Applied Sciences (AAS) Agribusiness Technology and anAssociate of Applied Science (AAS) Equine Business

Both programs are a two-year degree that is SACSCOC accredited. These programs prepare individuals to manage agriculturally related operations entrepreneurially and/or within diversified corporations.
