Erby Baxter Padgett, “Scott” age 61, of Asheville completed his heavenly journey to join family and friends in Christ on Thursday, March 19th, 2015.

He loved to read, discuss world issues, music, and had a great sense of humor.  Most of all he loved God, his family, and friends.  Scott was the son of the late Erby and Georgia Mae Padgett. 

Left to cherish his memory are his sisters Jackie Arrowood, and Joy Saunders (Kirk); brothers Forrest Padgett (Pat), William Padgett, Mike Padgett (Franie); stepfather Arthur Amos; special friends. 

Services were held at Mountain Creek Baptist Church in Rutherfordton.

Crowe’s Mortuary is assisting the Padgett Family.
