Ernest Richard Crook, 60, of Rutherfordton, passed away Saturday, April 29, 2017.

A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of the late Ernest Walden and Judith Pritchard Gibson.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Apryl Rhom Crook of the home; brothers, Keith Crook of Ellenboro, Terry Crook of Gastonia, and Jerry Crook of Greensboro; sisters, Nancy Neal of Charlotte, Karen Dobbins of Bostic and Angie Hooper of Myrtle Beach.

The family will have a private memorial service at a later date.

Crowe's Mortuary is assisting the family.
