Ervin "Doc" Kesterson, age 89, of Rutherfordton, passed away Sunday, November 27, 2016.

He was the son of the late John Kesterson and the late Kittie Austin Kesterson.

He is survived by his wife: Janet Bostic Kesterson. Two step-sons: Steve and Scott Bostic. Three sisters: Rhoda Ward, Doris Rosier, and Mary Lois Gilman. One brother: Dean Kesterson. Five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

The funeral service was held at Adaville Baptist Church. Interment was held at Eternal Hills Memorial Park, Forest City.
