Ethel Pearl Parker Fowler, 92, of Ruth, passed away Saturday, July 28, 2012.  

A native of Rutherford County she was the daughter of the late Alfred Elihu Parker and Ida Hall Parker. She worked in textiles and was a member of Second Baptist Church.  

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Mary Lou Henson and husband Broughton of Mooresboro and a brother, Carl Parker of Union Mills, grandchildren; Kim Wilson and husband Roger, Kevin Henson and wife Regina, great-grandchildren; Whittney Wilson, Caleb Wilson, Matthew Henson, Ryan Henson, and Jessica Henson.  

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Fowler, brothers; Lodge, Hicks, Louis, and Alvin Parker, sisters; Pauline Laughter and Ruth Parker.

Funeral Services were held at Second Baptist Church with Dr. Keith Stephenson, and Rev. Carpenter officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
