Evelyn Sims Abrams, 95, of Rutherfordton, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2019.

A native of Rutherford County and daughter of Dave and Irene Sims. She was a homemaker and a member of Grays Creek Baptist Church.



Left to cherish her memory is her son, Rev. Bill Abrams Jr. and wife Dianne of Stanley, NC; daughter, Barbara Abrams Buehring of Tampa, FL; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Glenn Abrams, one brother, Edwin Sims and sister, Mary Sue Frady.


Funeral services will be held 11AM Friday, March 8, 2019 at Crowe's Mortuary with Rev. Bill Abrams. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the mortuary. Interment will be in Piedmont Baptist Church cemetery.

Crowe's Mortuary and Crematory is serving the family.
