Farrell Roger Cole, age 65 of Forest City passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2020.

Roger was born on December 11, 1954 in Rutherford County.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Diane Cole Everett.

Survivors include his son, Benjamin Cole of Forest City, his daughters, Mary Cole Smith and her husband Matthew of Stanley, NC, Catherine Cole and fiancée, Hewett Nichols of Forest City, a brother, Steve Cole and wife Lynn of Forest City as well as two grandchildren.

The funeral service was held at Crestview Baptist Church. Interment followed in the Cool Springs Cemetery.

The Padgett & King Mortuary is serving the family.
