Chimney Rock at Chimney Rock State Park

Every fall, millions of birds take to the skies following ancient flyways as they migrate south for the winter. Chimney Rock is right in the path of this incredible journey.

Experience this natural phenomenon up close by joining staff and rangers for the 17th Annual Flock to the Rock on Saturday, September 13, from 10am to 3pm. The Flock to the Rock is a birding and nature event focusing on eagles.

Included with the Park admission, will be live raptor programs, a hawk watch on top of the Chimney, and lots more migration and Monarch-themed activities. Grab binoculars and get ready for all the feathered fun and this unique chance to witness the beauty of fall migration in action.
