A cyclist stops by the First Baptist Church Little Free Pantry in Forest City for food recently. The pantry is placed there in memory of Cindy Campbell. There are similar blessing boxes across the county where people who need food can receive it. "Take What You Need, Leave What You Can," is the motto of those who have placed boxes in Rutherfordton, Forest City, Ruth, Spindale and other areas. People are stocking the boxes almost daily because of the needs. Anyone can receive food and restock with items that are kid-friendly such as snap tops, easily open by children.
