Frances “Fran” Dee Wilkie, age 44, of Henrietta, NC, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2012.
Fran was born May 31, 1967 in Rutherford County, NC to the late Steve Holmes Wilkie and Alice Summers Wells. She was a graduate of East High School, class of 1975 and worked as a CNA in home health.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one brother, Scott Wilkie and an uncle, Thomas Summers.
Besides her mother, she is survived by one daughter, Jessica Wilkie of Bostic; her fiancé, Mark Thomas Payne of Henrietta; two sisters, Carletta Pittman of Rutherfordton and Darla Bright and husband, Roger of Ellenboro; two brothers, Donald Wall of Henrietta and Chad Meadows of Bostic and one nephew, Blue Pittman of Rutherfordton.
A memorial service was conducted at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel. .
Memorial donations are suggested to Harrelson Funeral Home, 1251 US Highway 221A, Forest City, NC 28043 to help defray funeral costs.
