Fred "Freddie" Robinson, Jr., age 62, of Marion, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2023.

Freddie was born August 12, 1960 in Buncombe County to the late Fred Harold Robinson, Sr. and Nancy Lee Smith Robinson. He served honorably in the US Army and had also served as an Avery County Deputy Sheriff. Freddie drove a commercial truck for several years and most recently worked for Allied Universal Security. Freddie was of the Christian faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Freda Cook and brother, Kenneth Bradford.

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Thomas Robinson of Forest City, Rebecka Wren of Marion, Sarah Styles of Marion and Gabriel Robinson of Asheville; sisters, Barbara "Bobby" Currie of Burnsville and Elizabeth McHone of Spruce Pine; brother, Benny Robinson of OK, four grandchildren.

In honor of his wishes there will be no formal services conducted.
