Freda Anne Hare, age 83, passed away Monday, December 18, 2023.

Freda was born May 14, 1940 in Castile, New York. She worked as a Dispatcher for the New York State Police at Letchworth State Park, as well as being a hairdresser and caretaker for family and friends.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Lawrence "Dewey" Streeter (Linda) of Fort Mill, SC, and Andrew Streeter of Shelby; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Norman James "Jim" Hare; her mother, Edwina Steele; stepfather, Lloyd Steele; son, Randy David Streeter; brother, Ray Steele; and sisters, Joan Hakins, and Janice Wolfer.

Freda's urn will be buried in the family plot in New York.
