PrintGaither Wayne Harwood, age 57, of Rutherfordton, NC, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2023.
A native of Buncombe County, Gaither graduated from Enka High School. He also was a graduate of Good News Baptist Bible Institute. He was the Lt. Commander and Adjutant of the William Corbitt Camp SCV.
Gaither is survived by his wife of 29 years, Naomi White Harwood, his parents, Leonard, and Jean Harwood, brother, Bryan Harwood (Tonya), one niece, and two nephews.
The funeral service were held at Holly Springs Baptist Church February 25 with Rev. Scott Moneyham and Rev. Steve Smith officiating.
