Gary Dale DeWeese, age 73 of Ellenboro, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2021.

Gary was born on June 22, 1947 in Waynesville, NC and was a son of the late Marvin Edgar DeWeese and Viola Elizabeth Overman DeWeese.

Gary was a veteran of the United States Navy.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Mac Arthur DeWeese and a sister, Geraldine Putnam.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Susie DeWeese of the home, his son, Jeffrey Alan DeWeese of Chesnee, SC, and a sister, Linda Woody and husband Bill of Waynesville.

A graveside service was held at Calvary's Cross Baptist Church Cemetery, Hwy 226, Lawndale.
