Gary L. Newton, age 57, of Forest City, passed away Thursday, September 24, 2020.

Gary was born June 8, 1963 in Rutherford County to the late Charles Edward Newton and Billie Waters Newton.

He is survived by his cousins, Phil Newton, Arnold Waters, Charlotte Street, Larry Pope, Shelba Sinclair, Roger Waters, Myra Bridges and Caroline Pope.

A gathering of family and friends was held. Interment will be private at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery.

Harrelson Funeral and Cremation Services is serving the family.
