Rev. Roy Byers (far right) of Caroleen Methodist Church of Ellenboro, challenged church members to a SOUPer Bowl Competition. Two teams competed to collect the most canned food items as a friendly competition to later donate to ICC's Patriot Pantry. The two teams collected 250 items to donate. Janis Byers, wife of pastor Byers, baked 23 fresh loaves of bread that were offered to members for a donation to the cause. They donated $60 of these proceeds to ICC's Patriot Pantry to purchase needed items. Members including Jacob, Finnley, and Jamieson Clue (pictured), assisted in this project.
