George Charles Yelton, age 80 passed away December 31, 2021 at Colonial Manor.

A native of Rutherford County, he is a retired auto mechanic and is a son of the late George and Addie Norville Yelton.

He is survived by his wife, Edna Mae Hudson Yelton; sons, Charles Edward Yelton and Nick Yelton (Jamie); brothers, Neil, Rocky and Roy Lee Yelton; four grandchildren and a number of friends and other family members.

A memorial service was held January 4, 2022 at Crowe's Funeral Chapel with Rev. Chad Sisk officiating.
