   Amanda Ridings Roethlisberger, who is battling breast cancer, is the catalyst for the Get Your Pink On Music Fest and Cookout on Saturday, October 16th from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. at the Masonic Lodge in Boiling Springs, North Carolina.  The event is being organized by friends and family to raise funds to offset her medical expenses.

   Amanda is a former Cleveland County resident and a 1998 graduate of Crest High School. On July 26th, 2010, the 30-year-old newlywed was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma in her left breast. Lymph nodes in her neck and clavicle area also showed signs of cancer. She is currently undergoing four months of Chemotherapy, followed by a Mastectomy. She is very positive and ready for a fight!
